Report from Haiti Medical Mission Trip by Julia Pearce

A twenty member team of physicians, nurses, pharmacists and support staff made the trip to Haiti last month. They served 874 Haitians in 5 days – a mere drop in the proverbial bucket, and the need is truly beyond the imagination.  Never-the-less, it was a successful trip, and Tybee was part of the world effort to provide aid to people devastated by the January 12th earthquake.  Thank you for all the support and your prayers. Please continue to pray for the people of Haiti. Full Recovery is years away. Donations for continued relief efforts can be sent to HIMM.  State “Haiti relief,” and send to # 8 Fifth Street,Tybee Island, GA 31328.
Glad to be home!

Peace.

Julia Pearce, RN-BC
