Wilmington Island Farmers’ Market to Host Free Health Fair

Free Health Fair on May 26!


Tybee Island, GA: The Wilmington Island Farmers’ Market will host a free Health Fair featuring blood pressure, body mass index and random blood glucose checks by Mercer University medical students from the Memorial Health University Medical Center. Balance Mobile Massage will be onsite offering therapeutic and relaxing massages. Kids can participate in Short Stacks: A Preschool Culinary Experience. Other highlights include live music, a water slide, face painting and more.

Yoshi’s Kitchen food truck cuisine and $1 hot dogs will complement the market’s customary variety of fresh produce, delicious food and handcrafted items for purchase from regional vendors. This event is free and open to the public.

The Wilmington Island Farmers’ Market (WIFM) is a nonprofit organization that provides Wilmington Island and adjacent islands’ residents with locally grown produce, baked goods, natural skincare solutions and a variety of artisan creations.
